Georg Moesta

Georg Moesta has been working in the field of company law for over 25 years and specialises in all topics relating to SME’s and family-owned businesses. In his capacity as a specialist in inheritance law, he is able to assist with asset transfers to be made during a testator’s lifetime as part of an anticipated succession procedure and to deal with succession arrangements after death. His focus remains on the client’s best tax interests at all times. His additional commercial expertise enables him to obtain a rapid and sure grasp of even the most complex correlations of circumstances. He brings this knowledge to bear in cases relating to succession and the execution of wills, including at companies. He also works in the area of M&A.

Georg Moesta was appointed as a permanent member of the Rhineland Palatinate Constitutional Tribunal on 7 February 2019. 

His competence is highly regarded, and the esteem in which he is held is reflected in the number of seats he holds on the advisory and supervisory boards of various companies in the SME and public sectors. Examples here include Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co. KG, Sparkasse Koblenz, Kreissparkasse Mayen and Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft am Mittelrhein mbH. He also fulfils client requests by chairing or sitting on the boards of trustees of not-for-profit foundations.
